December 2015 sales numbers have been released by SIAM and the team at EMMAAA has analysed the numbers in detail.
The trends of November 2015 have more or less carried through into December and we have diligently copy-pasted most of the text from the November 2015 sales analysis below.
It was a rather good month for the Passenger Vehicles segment but a muted month elsewhere. Truck sales growth slowed down even though most segments still recorded double-digit jump.
Elsewhere, Scooters slowed down considerably and the growth rate came down to very low single digit levels. Most motorcycle segments are also not doing well except for Big motorcycles (>250cc) which seem to be facing no problems in expanding their market. However, even there we can see signs of stress as everyone not named Royal Enfield saw a decline in dispatches.
